The office of local Assembly Members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey will be accepting donations of nonperishable food following the launch of their Annual Holiday Food Drive. The food drive will run from November 28, 2016 to December 12, 2016 and will benefit the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

“It is heartbreaking to think that families right here in Monmouth County could be going hungry this holiday season,” said Downey (D-Monmouth), “Not only as legislators but as residents and neighbors we want to do our part to ease the burden on hurting families.”

“We’ve see before the incredible generosity of our local residents, and we’re hoping for another great response with this food drive,” said Houghtaling (D-Monmouth), “Any donation, large or small, helps someone in need.”
